Film Photography vs. Digital Photography

Benefits of Film Photography:
1. With film photogrpahy you put more thought into each shot because there are a limited number of pictures you can take on each role of film
2. Black and white film photographs have more contrast so you can see the details.
3. Film cameras last longer than digital ones.
4. Mistakes made while using a film camera can actually make the image better and more authentic.
5. Film photgraphs have higher resolution.

Negatives of Film Photography:
1. Camera is heavy.
2. A Black room and Dark room in needed.
3. You can only take a limited amount of pictures.
4. You have to wait for the photo to be developed to see whether or not the image was a good one.
5. Theres a lot of mistakes you can makes like you cant open the camera when the film is in, and you have to be careful of light exposure to film.

Benefits of Digital Photography:
1. Editing is very easy to do.
2. Can take almost endless number of photos on a memory card.
3. You can change your film speed(ISO) on each photo.
4. You can immediately see the image you capture.
5. Easy to change effects, and manipulate an image.

Negatives of Film Photography:
1. Details are lost in balck and white photographs.
2. Higher initial coast.
3. Less durable, and easily damaged.
4. Battery life is less than film cameras.
5. They are complex and hard to use.
